Andrew Winfrow is a distinguished figure in the world of German Shepherd Dogs, having established the kennel name "SADIRA" back in 1969. Throughout his impressive career as a breeder and owner, he has produced an exceptional line of GSD champions that have left a mark on the breed's history.
Among his notable achievements are the titles of 8 GSD Champions, showcasing his dedication to breeding top-quality dogs. Some of his remarkable champions include Ch. Sadira Francine (Top Female 1976), Ch. Sadira Paulette (Top Female 1980), and Ch. Sadira Pettit Fleur of Bedwin (Top Female 1981), among others.
Andrew's expertise in the breed has not gone unnoticed, as he has been a respected UK Kennel Club GSD Championship Breed Specialist Judge since 1989. He has had the honor of judging 21 Championship Shows, including the prestigious Crufts in 2002. His judging experience extends beyond the UK, as he has also officiated shows in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.
Apart from his judging roles, Andrew Winfrow has actively contributed to the GSD community. He has held significant positions, such as Chairman of the British Sieger Event, WUSV Working Group, Kennel Club GSD Educational Officer, Breed Council Surveyor, and Chairman. These roles demonstrate his commitment to the betterment of the breed and the dog show community.
In addition to his success with German Shepherd Dogs, Andrew has also excelled in other breeds, achieving ownership of champions in Belgian Shepherd Dogs, Australian Shepherd Dogs, and Swedish Vallhunds.
