Frank Borg (Framod) – Frank got his first Cocker Spaniel in 1979. He went to his first dog show in 1980, and immediately was hooked in the World of dog shows! Bred and shown many Cockers since then, and in 2003 imported his first Beagle, a breed he also bred and shown to great success for many years. 
Frank joined the Committee of the Malta Canine Society in 1981, and immediately started a revolution to modernize and organize the Society, and was elected Secretary in 1992, a post he still holds to this day. Frank is also the founder member and Chairman of The Maltese National Canine Federation, which enjoys a Reciprocal Agreement with the Kennel Club (U.K). In the year 2002 Frank was the first Maltese to be elected a member of the Kennel Club (U.K).
Frank has worked with dogs for many years, having spent over 25 years as a dog handler with the Malta Police, during which he trained many German Shepherd Dogs and Labradors.
Frank first judging appointment in England was in 1993. Since then he has judged on countless occasions, mainly Gundogs and Hounds, in Great Britain and also in Germany and Poland.
Frank is approved by the Kennel Club (U.K) to award Challenge Certificates in Cocker Spaniels, Beagles and American Cocker Spaniels in the United Kingdom, with other breeds being approved soon, making him the first Maltese judge ever to be passed to give tickets in England. Since then, Frank has judged at Open and Championship Show level in Great Britain and other Countries in Europe, having judged breeds across all the groups, Groups, and Best In Show on many occasions.
