PKC Judges

Lt Col Dr Hammad Ahmed Hashmi (Retd), is a renowned Veterinarian, who graduated in 1989 as a DVM from the College of Veterinary Sciences, Lahore (Now UVAS) and joined the Pak Army in 1991. He remained in active service till July 2016, where he served on various command, instructional and staff appointments. He has the honour of serving and commanding the Army Dog Centre, Rawalpindi.
His picture has been displayed on the “Wall of Fame” of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan.
He has successfully organized, managed, supervised and coordinated inland dog shows with various renowned National K9 Clubs cum Bodies, under International & National Judges. He had been under study Judge with PKC under foreign and National Judges since March 2018 and is National Judge since Feb 2021.
    He has enormous experience in the treatment, management and care of a variety of animals.  In March 2018, he was bestowed with Excellence Award during the International Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Congress, held in Lahore. He is a practising Vet. He is the “Secretary Information” of the Pakistan Small Animals Association. He is Master Trainer on Rabies, TNVR, K9 Training & Veterinary Medicine
    Till 16 March 2021, was working as Additional Director Security and OIC DHA Lahore Kennel Club, at DHA Lahore. He is an external examiner for MPhil students of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore. He is an Animal Welfare Mentor and delivers lectures to various Universities in Pakistan. 
    His special expertise is in the training, management, treatment and employment of Security Working Dogs. He has authored technical books and his technical articles have been published both in local and international Journals. 
    Since 17 March 2021, he was working as National Sales and Technical Manager (Companion Animal Products) with Snam Pharma. Momentarily, he is working there as GM (Companion Group).
He is happily married with three kids.
